This 1978 Argosy came to us from Bar Harbor, Maine, and was gutted when we received it. We removed the inner skins, insulation and original wiring and replaced it all. After installing the original skins and patching what needed to be patched, we completely rebuilt the interior to the customer's specifications. The rear frame had to be rebuilt due to severe rust. New tanks were added, as well as all new plumbing. The customer picked their fixtures and had them sent to our shop for installation. New vinyl flooring was installed when the cabinetry was completed. The customer wanted something different for their dinette table, so we designed and built a custom copper table for them. The shower pan is also made of copper as well. Kitchen counter tops are made with Avonite solid surfacing. The bathroom doors have porthole windows with frosted glass to bring out the nautical theme, which is also picked up in the door cabinet pulls. All new upholstery was custom made by a local shop. The exterior was then stripped to bare aluminum and primed and painted with automotive paint.
